F2F Lawson's Little Library & Pantry on Scott Rd We have partnered with Family 2 Family and are excited to have a little free pantry! Its open 24hrs a day! Our little library is stocked full too!

This is really upsetting to find the Pantry like this...someone opened packages, dumped diapers from bags, stole the plastic storage baskets that were labeled with pantry and not remove written on them.
Very frustrating as try to keep the Pantry box well organized and stocked.

While we are extremely greatful for the generosity and donations...please remember we can not accept anything past best ...

Sadly we had to dispose of several items that were donated today because they were past date by at least a year or more 😕

Refilled the Pantry today.
We have seen an increase in need recently and often it is emptied almost daily!
Some items you may find in the pantry: breakfast bags, non perishable food items, Hygiene items, period packs, diapers. Clean socks, gloves, hats.
Donations are greatly appreciated and can be left in the bin on our porch bench. Thank you

Pantry is stocked again.
Trying to put dry goods in vs cans that could burst if frozen.
Would appreciate any donations (non expired). Also trying to keep hats, socks, mitts etc in stock for our most vulnerable community members.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT about donating to food hampers and Pantry program:

- Everyone donates Mac and Cheese in the box. They can rarely use it because it needs milk and butter which is hard to get from regular food banks.
- Boxed milk is a treasure, as kids need it for cereal which they also get a lot of.
- Everyone donates pasta sauce and spaghetti noodles.
-They cannot eat all the awesome canned veggies and soup unless you put a can opener in too or buy pop tops.
-Oil is a luxury but needed for Rice a-Roni which they also get a lot of.
-Spices or salt and pepper would be a real Christmas gift.
-Tea bags and coffee make them feel like you care.
- Sugar, candies and flour are treats.
-Seeds are cool in Spring and Summer because growing can be easy for some.
- Tuna and crackers make a good lunch.
-Bigger isnt always better...smaller sizes and mutli packs can go to more people/families.
-They get lots of peanut butter and jelly but usually not sandwich bread.
-Cake mix and frosting makes it possible to make a child’s birthday cake.
-before you buy, read the what's needed to prepare it. Think about what's needed to prepare the dish/meal.
-meals in a can like Stews or grab n go tuna with crackers are so simple and easy for those who are unhoused.
- Dishwashing detergent is very expensive and is always appreciated.
- Feminine hygiene products are a luxury and women will cry over that.
-Hygiene items are very much appreciated the small travel ones you collect from hotels are perfect for Pantry locations.
-Everyone loves Stove Top Stuffing.

So greatful for donations! This month already F2F has gifted 3 baby layette boxes, 2 food hampers, countless bags of free clothing!
