And that's a wrap! Bail's Book Club celebrated yesterday by joining participating classes at the Aron Theatre Co-op to watch GOAT. Congratulations to all of the students, together we had a blast with reading, crafts and fun with the Forest of Reading program!

In partnership with TRENT HILLS PRIDE, we are excited to be screening the widely-acclaimed Iranian film ‘Chess of the Wind’ on June 18th at 6:00pm at the Campbellford library! ‘Chess of the Wind’ was screened once before being banned, with all copies of the film thought to have been destroyed. However, a negative of the film was found in a Tehran junk shop, smuggled out of Iran, and restored. The film is now recognized as a masterpiece for its daring, avant-garde style and q***r subtext.

Market Swap Saturday was a lot of fun in Hastings this morning! The idea was to bring something homemade, home grown, or home baked to share. It was so nice to meet some new people and go home with a basket full of goodies! Thanks to everyone who came. We’re hoping to do another one soon! Stay tuned for details. 😊
