This summer, we welcomed Spencer Blain to our Trent Hills office as a Student Office Administrator!

Spencer spent 8 weeks supporting our Transportation and Meals on Wheels programs while learning the ropes across CCN. Supported by a Job Opportunity for Youth (JOY) grant from the Community Foundation of Campbellford/Seymour and Northumberland, Spencer was an invaluable support this summer season.

“Working in the different sections of Community Care Northumberland from volunteer drivers to Meals on Wheels has shown me the wide breadth that this organization is able to cover and help people with and it’s a system you wouldn’t realize is as complicated as it is until you experience it.” Spencer Blain, Student.

Essential grants like these support organizations like CCN while offering valuable real life work experience for students in their career pursuits. Thank you, !
