The federal Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has accepted Alberta and Saskatchewan’s re-submission for emergency use registration of 2% liquid strychnine for Richardson ground squirrel control.

Important Notice:

– There is currently NO strychnine available in Canada

– Product must be imported before distribution

– Supply will be EXTREMELY LIMITED

Camrose County’s business community continues to show strong momentum, reaching a record 1,439 active establishments in 2025. The latest data highlight not only a significant rebound from earlier declines, but also the county’s distinctly entrepreneurial character, with the economy driven largely by independent operators, family-run enterprises, and micro-businesses across a wide range of industries.

✉ NOTICE: Camrose County 2026 Assessment/Tax Notices have been mailed.

In accordance with the provisions of Section 311(1) of the Municipal Government Act, and amendments, notice is hereby given that the assessment roll of Camrose County has been fully prepared, and Assessment/Tax notices have been mailed to all assessed persons on May 15, 2026.

As per Section 337 of the Municipal Government Act, all Assessment/Tax Notices are deemed to have been received seven days after they have been sent.
