Thank you to Dabble Diva / Jenine Yuzik Art for providing this Art Kit (complete with everything to make a windchime and a pre-printed canvas with paint)
Yesterday was our last Summer Children’s Program and we want to thank everyone in the community for joining us in all the fun!
Thank you to our volunteers who came out to help the children make their crafts and get their snacks!
And the biggest thank you to Community Initiatives Fund for the grant that made all of this possible!

These books were dropped in the Candle Lake Library drop box. We do not accept donations of books (except during our annual book sale). We unfortunately do not have any storage space, so please come by and pickup these books if you had dropped them in.

We had a magical day yesterday with Danny Kazam and his Young Wizards Day Camp!
He read the book The Magician’s Hat by Malcolm Mitchell and then the young wizards crafted their own magician top hat and magic wand! They then learned how to perform some magic tricks and then their parents joined in to watch Danny perform some amazing tricks and he kept them all laughing too!
Thanks to Community Initiatives Fund for the grant funding to provide this amazing program in Candle Lake!

WEDNESDAY. AUGUST. 12 - CANDLE LAKE COMMUNITY HALL FROM 1:00PM to 4:00PM
Saskatchewan Archaeological Society will be here to help you travel back in time. They will share exciting stories and have hands-on activities to learn about Saskatchewan's rich heritage and how people lived long ago.
This is a Come and Go Event, with a small snack provided to the first 40 children, see you then!

Thank you to Made You Smile Co - Custom Bears and Gifts for coming to Candle Lake and bringing all the new friends to life for our program participants! And thank you to Community Initiatives Fund for the generous grant to provide the new stuffed animals to love to the registrants for FREE 🧸

If you missed out on registering for the Build Your Own Custom Bear program on Wednesday July 29th, we are happy to announce that Made You Smile Co - Custom Bears and Gifts will be bringing more (to be) stuffed animals with them. At 3:00pm we will open up to the general public to come in and 'build a bear' of their choice. The prices start at $27.50 and there will be clothes and accessories available to all to add on! All supplies are first come, first served and they accept payment by Cash, Interac and Etransfer. Please contact Patty at the library for any inquiries 🧸
