Nourish & Develop

Nourish & Develop The Nourish and Develop Foundation is a charitable non-profit organization, located in Cannington, Ontario. Established in 2000.

We are an organization where people can receive more than just access to food and services. Over the past few years, TNDF has grown in more ways than one. We have added to our dedicated team of staff, recruited and trained new volunteers, increased and improved community programs, and researched and implicated new strategies to strengthen our community. Today, we support families and individuals t

hrough our Food Pantry and service hundreds more through our community programming. Providing access to good food is just the beginning of our work. We believe that improving lives and building stronger communities is the result of working together with a sense of purpose. Our programs are developed to improve self-reliance and include projects that strengthen the community.

💛 Thank You, Karley 💛

After 4.5 incredible years, we’re sharing our heartfelt thanks to Karley for her care, leadership, and lasting impact at The Nourish and Develop Foundation.

Throughout her time and various roles at TNDF, Karley brought our values to life in everything she did. She showed up with curiosity, compassion, and a deep commitment to community, and her impact can be felt across our programs, our team, and the many community members she’s supported over the years.

While we’ll miss having her here day‑to‑day, we’re truly excited for Karley as she steps into a new opportunity and continues the meaningful work she’s so good at. We’re incredibly proud of all she’s accomplished with us and grateful that we may still see her around from time to time offering occasional support.

Please join us in wishing Karley all the very best on this next chapter. We can’t wait to see what she does next! 🌱💐

So the next time you're grocery shopping, consider visiting our Mobile Food Market to shop for fresh, local, affordable food.

💐 A heartfelt thank you to Mike Gibbs Floral Design for partnering with us for their annual Mother’s Day Bouquet Bar in such a meaningful way.

This year’s event was not only a beautiful celebration for the important women in our lives but also a testament to community. We are deeply grateful to have received 10% of their bouquet sales, which were generously rounded up to a donation of $400 to Nourish House Food Bank.

Thank you to everyone who attended 🌷 It meant so much to connect with community members, share more about our programs, and see people supporting both local businesses and local families at the same time. We’re already looking forward to growing this event next year!

Partnerships like this remind us how powerful simple acts of community giving can be. Local businesses are the heart of small communities like ours, and initiatives like round-up campaigns, fundraiser partnerships, product donations, or community events truly make an impact. We are stronger when we work together and support each other!

Thanks again to Mike Gibbs Floral Design for the continued support 🌼 If you’re a local business interested in giving back close to home, we’d love to connect and explore partnership opportunities together 💛
