Friday afternoon, members of the Board of Directors and residents of Maple Glen Seniors Apartments in Sunderland gathered to officially commission and cut the ribbon on the new permanent generator!

This project represents a tremendous amount of hard work, dedication, and perseverance by the Board, staff, residents, and everyone who helped bring this important initiative to life. Following the devastating ice storm of 2025, ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of Maple Glen residents became a priority—and today marks an important milestone in making that a reality.

This is a great example of what can be accomplished when a community comes together with a shared purpose. A special milestone for Maple Glen and, most importantly, for the residents who call it home.
