Trappers - you've got mail!

You may have recently received a letter in the mail inviting you to participate in a survey. Your responses will help us understand and communicate the importance of trapping to you and to the people of Ontario, to estimate the amount of trapping activity in the province, and to learn about your views on trapping and furbearer management.

While this survey does not reflect any planned changes to trapping regulations, your responses may help inform future proposed changes.

Please note that only a random selection of trappers will receive letters. It’s also important to remember that all personal information collected from this survey will be treated as confidential and only aggregated results will be reported.

Trappers have a long tradition as partners in wildlife management and we look forward to your participation. We are excited to share back results of this survey next year!
