📚 Getting ready for a new school year!

Teachers across Westwind are back this week, preparing classrooms, reconnecting with colleagues and taking part in professional learning as we get ready to welcome students back on Tuesday, September 1.

Staff have been participating in sessions throughout the week, including Google training focused on the digital tools and programs they will use to support teaching and learning this year.

Superintendent Darren Mazutinec and Board Chair Jim Ralph also had an opportunity to welcome staff and help kick off the 2026/2027 school year.

There is lots happening behind the scenes, and we are looking forward to having our students back in our schools next week! 🍎📓
