NOTICE: SCHEDULED WATER SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
https://www.cardston.ca/news/post/planned-water-booster-station-maintenance
On August 27th between 10:00AM and 1:00PM another planned maintenance will be performed on the water booster station near the Agridome. This booster station provides better pressure to the watermains servicing the residents in the The North West section of Town and near the Golf Course.
See the map on the right: the blue watermains are the gravity mains that have sufficient pressure without the need of a booster station. The light green watermains rely on the the booster stations to provide good pressure.
Residents in the affected zones may notice a decrease in water pressure while the work is being performed, but water will still be available. Pressure will return to normal when the maintenance is completed.

Heritage Days Yard of the Day, Saturday's Winner – Overall Yard of the Week

Congratulations to Sherry Gaub, whose beautiful property has been selected as the Heritage Days Overall Yard of the Week!
Sherry's yard is a wonderful example of the creativity, care, and pride that goes into making a property truly stand out. From the colourful flowers and carefully tended garden beds to the charming white picket fence and pergola, every detail comes together to create a welcoming and beautifully designed outdoor space.

After a week of celebrating some of Cardston's outstanding yards, Sherry's property stood out as our Overall Yard of the Week.
Thank you, Sherry, for the time, creativity, and care you put into your yard and for helping make Cardston a more beautiful place to live. Your efforts are a wonderful reflection of the community pride we celebrate during Heritage Days.

Congratulations, Sherry!

Wild Pony Race!: Agridome - 888 12 St W
August 7th, 2026 7:00:00PM to 10:00:00PM
UPDATE: NO ENTRANCE FEE - teams may enter for free.
What's a Wild Pony Race? Before young ponies grow up and get broke for riding, they don't exactly let people stay on their backs for long, hence why they're called wild. In the wild pony race, a team of three kids aged 7-13 try to wrangle a pony and get one of their team up on its back and see how long they can hang on.
If you know some youngn's who are too big for mutton bustin' and want to try the next best thing, text Dillon at the number shown in the image and register them before the Rodeo Starts at 7:00.Pony Races will take place during intermission.

This event gives kids a chance to experience the excitement of rodeo in a relatively safe, supervised environment. Riders must wear a helmet.
Who can enter?Sheep riding is open to young children with a maximum weight of approximately 60 lbs.
How do kids enter?Show up just before 6:00PM and get in line by the chutes.
