New Feature Story 🌸

The weather has finally warmed up and we've got the perfect outdoor activity for you! Don't Touch That Flower by Alice Hemming, illustrated by Nicola Slater, is our new Storywalk® in Kings Park. Join Squirrel as he attempts to overprotect a tiny yellow wildflower, until his friend Bird teaches him what flowers really need; light, pollinators and water. Feel free to take photos and share them with us by emailing [email protected] or by tagging our social media accounts.

Open now!

Kids 8 years and older are invited to stitch their very own prehistoric pals with us at the library! All supplies are provided to make two dinosaurs. Join us on June 4, at either 1pm or 5pm!

Registration required, and is now open on our website, or contact the library to sign up. This is a free event and all supplies are provided. Children ages 12 and under must be supervised while in the library.

Save the Dates!

The Poppy Project is holding a drop in to assemble poppies. No crochet skills are required for assembly. It will be held at the Legion Auxiliary Hall on the upcoming May 20 and 27 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. For more information, please reach out to Louise Pethybridge.

Spring in colour! Spend an afternoon planting impatiens in an easy-to-maneuver hanging bag to enjoy outside all summer long. Join us on May 27 to plant at either 1pm or 3pm.

Registration is required and is now open. Register online on our website or contact the library to reserve your spot. Limit of one spot per household. Library membership is required. All materials supplied.
