Producers in RM 2 are eligible to participate in Saskatchewan's Strychnine Stewardship Program.

There are several requirements of producers in order to participate in the program. Please see full program details here: https://www.saskatchewan.ca/business/agriculture-natural-resources-and-industry/agribusiness-farmers-and-ranchers/livestock/pastures-grazing-hay-silage/richardsons-ground-squirrel-management

One of the requirements for purchase is training of producers. This is one of the mandatory requirements to be eligible to purchase strychnine from the RM. Training can be accessed here: https://strychnine-stewardship-training.thinkific.com/courses/producers

The provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan have developed Strychnine Stewardship Programs to facilitate the access to and application of strychnine. Completing prescribed training is required as one of the eligibility requirements.
