As of January 1, 2026, the Village of Caroline page will no longer be active.

To stay up to date with municipal news and notifications regarding the Hamlet of Caroline, follow Clearwater County on social media, visit our website at www.clearwatercounty.ca and watch local newspapers.

Questions can be directed to the Clearwater County office at 403-845-4444 and your call will be forwarded to the applicable department. Direct messages sent to the Clearwater County page are monitored Monday-Friday, during regular office hours, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Clearwater County is a rural community encompassing 18,691 km's squared and 12,278 residents that understand country life is different from that of a city or urban area.

UPDATE: May 9, 2025 @ 8:45 pm

Work is ongoing to complete repairs and restore water service.

Water service will be temporarily unavailable overnight in the affected areas while repairs continue. The Public Works Department is working hard to restore service by Saturday, May 10, 2025.

We appreciate your patience during this interruption.

Clearwater County is aware of a water main break in Caroline and crews are actively working to complete repairs.

Please watch for workers and equipment in the area, and follow all posted signage for your safety.

Residents on 49 Street, south of Highway 54, and north of Highway 54 to 51 Avenue, may experience a temporary disruption in water service.

We will provide further updates as more information becomes available.

Sanitary sewer flushing is scheduled for next week in Caroline.

Sanitary sewer flushing will take place in 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 from April 21 to May 2, 2025.

During flushing, you are advised to keep toilet lids closed. Sanitary flushing removes residual debris from sanitary mains by applying high-pressure water through the interior of the pipes. Splashing may occur due to water and air being forced through the mains.
