PUBLIC NOTICE

The request for designation has been approved under the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP) through the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency(SPSA) regarding the storm that occurred on July 11th and 12th. Ratepayers who have uninsurable damage are encouraged to visit the RM office to pick up their application forms.

The RM is working on scheduling a date for SPSA representatives to assist with the application process and answer any questions you may have. Further details will be provided once the date is confirmed.

The 2026 tax notices have been mail/ emailed out today. If you don’t receive your copy within the next week please contact the office.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The RM has applied for designation through the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP).

While we await PDAP’s decision, we would like to remind ratepayers of the following important steps:
• Document all uninsurable damage
o Photographs of the property
o Keep a detailed record of who assisted with the cleanup and the hours spent.

• Record equipment usage:
o If you use your own equipment, note the number of hours it was utilized.
o If you rent equipment or hire a contractor for cleanup, keep copies of all paid invoices.

• Obtain an insurance denial letter from your provider, specifying which damages are not covered by your policy.

No assistance will be provided for damage or loss to property that is deemed to be non-essential to the restoration of a home, or means of livelihood, or non-essential community services, or anything that is insurable.

Crews are working to repair damage caused by damaged equipment and estimate power to be restored at approx. 5:00pm in and around Arborfield, Zenon Park, Aylsham and surrounding areas.
