Experience L.M. Montgomery and the Spirit of Place, a captivating exhibit by Island artist Susan Christensen.

From June 1 to October 31, watch Susan paint live in the Green Gables Visitor Centre as she brings Montgomery’s poetry to life on canvas. Each piece is paired with a literary response by Island writer Renée Blanchette.

Spring is here which means it is almost time for Green Gables Heritage Place to open for the 2026 season!

The site will be open daily beginning May 1st from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. If May is not soon enough, you can visit by special appointment from April 15 until April 30. * Fees apply.

Walk through the famous Green Gables House, roam along the trails that once inspired L.M. Montgomery, and tour the exhibits that showcase the author and her famous literary works.
