Having been established in the community for 54 years, The Toy Factory is a childhood staple for Islanders and for those who visit. ☺️

We stopped by and chatted with owner Dan Viau to chat about what makes the place so special! Their in-house factory continues to run as they hand-craft all of their traditional wooden toys one at a time. You’ll find everything from toy trains, airplanes, paddle boats, to magic wands and more. 🚁✨

Along with their hand-crafted pieces, they sell many other toys from makers with similar ideals: toys with great value that last!

Their store features “hands-on” play areas for kids to try out unique pieces. Visit them this summer at 5607 Route 13, in New Glasgow!
