🚧 Paving at Main St. (Hwy 6) and Talbot St. (Hwy 3) in Jarvis is now complete, and the intersection is fully open to traffic.

This marks a key milestone in the 2025 Jarvis Talbot St. (Hwy 3) Connecting Link project, including road resurfacing, signal upgrades (fully active in July), and AODA accessibility improvements.

Temporary pavement markings are in place, with final decorative crosswalks expected late June to early July, weather permitting.

📽️ Today's the day! Help us celebrate National AccessAbility Week and Seniors Month by joining us this afternoon at Grandview Lodge OR tonight at the Hagersville Active Living Centre for a free screening of Silver Screamers - plus a Q&A/meet & greet with Canadian filmmaker Sean Cisterna.

🍿 We've got snacks covered - free popcorn will be available at both screening locations, and soups + sandwiches will be offered for purchase at the Active Living Centre (from the Carolinian Cafe).

The Alzheimer Society will also be present to speak about building dementia-friendly communities. All are welcome to attend!

There will be a public meeting held on Tuesday, June 16, to hear input from interested parties regarding a planning application for lands on Main St. N in Hagersville. The purpose of the application is to rezone the subject lands from 'Urban Residential Type 4-Holding (R4-H)' to 'Urban Residential Type 6 (R6)' to facilitate the development of an 8-storey, 26.96-metre (88.45-foot) apartment building.
