Today we congratulate Nolan and Kendra on getting married Nolan is one of our fire fighter and he had bright Kendra to the fire hall and she joined as well. We are beyond happy for these two can’t wait to see what’s next.

A FIRE BAN is now in effect for Vulcan County with respect to all open fires within its municipal boundaries.

Please ensure to view the Alberta Fire Bans website to confirm whether your zone is within the Fire Ban boundaries or not. 🔗https://www.alberta.ca/fire-bans

All active fire/burn permits are cancelled, and no new permits will be issued until further notice. Burning of any kind is prohibited, including recreational fires. Burning or lighting a fire during a Fire Ban is illegal, and fines and/or cost of fire departments to respond will apply.

Please report any smoke sightings or fires immediately to 911.

What an incredible weekend for our department!

The 3rd and 4th marked Champion’s 115th Birthday Celebration, and we were proud to be a part of it. Our members dedicated their time to helping with the firefighter games for the kids and spent the weekend driving around to make sure everyone stayed hydrated in the summer heat.

A huge thank you to all of our members who volunteered their time and to everyone who came out to celebrate. We’re proud to serve such an amazing community and look forward to many more years of making memories together.
