As we reflect on the Feed the Body, Feed the Soul campaign, we want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who helped make it possible.
Throughout the month of May, Islanders came together to support PEI Food Banks by exploring local trails, sharing the campaign, making donations, and encouraging others to get involved. Your participation helped raise awareness about food insecurity while highlighting the important connection between physical wellness, mental wellness, and community care.
A special thank you to Island Trails, trail partners, volunteers, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to bring this campaign to life. Initiatives like this remind us that community care is about showing up for one another in ways both big and small.
To everyone who participated, donated, shared, and supported the campaign—thank you. Your generosity and commitment to your community help ensure that Islanders facing food insecurity receive the support they need.
Together, we showed that when a community comes together around a shared purpose, great things can happen.

We are absolutely blown away by the kindness of the amazing families in our community!❤️

This past week, Eloise and Vienna, along with their parents Ellen and Fabio popped into our Food Bank to drop off a very special delivery.

Instead of receiving birthday presents this year, these two incredible sisters asked their friends to bring a non perishable item to their birthday party 🥰

Their collected donations will provide 25 meals for families and individuals in need!

Thank you, Eloise, Vienna, and mom and dad, for showing us the true spirit of community!

Please join us in wishing these two amazing girls a very happy, special belated birthday! 🎉🎂

A huge thank you to Invesco for organizing an incredible internal food drive in support of our food bank!
Staff came together in such a meaningful way, collecting over 900 lbs of food, including cake boxes, non-perishables, and a wide variety of essential items. Every single donation helps stock our shelves and supports individuals and families in our community who are relying on food support.
This is what community care looks like—people and organizations stepping up for one another in a tangible way. Your generosity helps ensure that everyone who walks through our doors is met with dignity, compassion, and support.
Thank you for being part of this work with us and for making such a meaningful impact in our community 💛

Behind every hamper packed, meal served, phone call answered, and question responded to is a staff member dedicated to supporting our community.

We had some of our staff answer a few questions where they highlighted the compassion, connection, and commitment that go into creating a welcoming and supportive experience for every person who walks through our doors.

💛 Because community care isn’t just about meeting needs today—it’s about building a stronger, more connected community for tomorrow.
