Dear Members of the Prince Edward Island Fire Service,
My name is Kenny Ramsay, and I am honored to serve as Medical First Responder
Coordinator for the Island Fire Service.
I am pleased to take this opportunity to introduce myself and to express my commitment
to working alongside each of you in supporting the vital role you play in our communities.
Across Prince Edward Island, firefighters are often the first on scene, providing critical care
and support during emergency situations. Your dedication, professionalism, and
willingness to respond at any hour make a profound difference in the lives of Islanders.
As your Medical First Responder Coordinator, my goal is to support you in delivering high-
quality pre-hospital care through collaboration, training, and strong communication.
Coming from a background in Fire and EMS services, I have a deep appreciation for the
challenges and responsibilities that come with this work. I am committed to ensuring that
our medical response systems are efficient, well-supported, and aligned with best
practices, while also recognizing the importance of teamwork and local knowledge within
each department.
I look forward to building strong working relationships with all fire departments across the
Island. Please feel free to reach out at any time with questions, ideas, or opportunities
where I can assist in strengthening the MFR Program.
