We will go live in and hour or so.. don't forget to tune in if you can't make it to the Community Centre.

Come out to the Community Centre on Thursday August 13th for an information session on wildfire and how you can reduce the risks to your property and our community in general. Through provincial funding, the Local Service District Committee has engaged a consultant specializing in wildland fire management and mitigation to prepare a Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan. This is your opportunity to ask questions and get answers from experts in this field. Following the meeting there will be live entertainment. Come out for a coffee and a chat and show support for your L*D Committee and Fire Department.

If you feel you can help us in any way, please contact us. Our beautiful little town really needs this as per government request. Please remember that once we are set up we will only be calling on you in case of an emergency, which of course we hope will never happen, that being said, we need to be ready, so please consider helping us.
