The little town of Chase is located on the shores of Little Shuswap Lake in the mountainous eastern region of the South Thompson River Valley, often known as The Gateway to the Shuswap. The Village of Chase is grateful to be located and provide services within Secwepmculecw, the traditional territory of the Secwepemc people.

A reminder that on October 17, 2026 eligible Village of Chase voters will be electing one (1) Mayor and four (4) Councillors for a four-year term as part of British Columbia’s 2026 General Local Elections. Nomination packages are available online at https://chasebc.ca or at the Village of Chase Office, 826 Okanagan Avenue, Chase BC (Mon to Fri, 9 AM to 4 PM). Completed nomination forms are due to the Chief Election Officer or their Deputy by appointment only between Tuesday, September 1, 2026 and Friday, September 11, 2026.

The Village of Chase has received a grant from the 2026 BC Hydro ReGreening grant program to provide vegetation to help enhance the Village. Trees have been added to our urban canopy in Mill Park, Willson Park and Memorial Park. These new trees replace trees that had to be removed because of age or are additional trees to provide shade and other benefits. The Village would like to thank BC Hydro for its contribution to the betterment of our community!
