What a fantastic day at the Tilbury Bike Rodeo! 🚲📣

CKPS was proud to partner with the Tilbury Rotary Club on May 30, 2026, to help local children build confidence and safety skills on their bikes!

Participants had the opportunity to practice important riding techniques, had their helmets properly fitted by Special Cst. Lauren Oswald to help keep them safe all season long and enjoyed an awesome BBQ put on by the volunteers with Tilbury Rotary Club!

A huge thank you to the volunteers, families and young riders who made this event a success. We look forward to seeing everyone riding safely this summer!💙

The Bothwell Optimist Club hosted its annual Bike Rodeo on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Bothwell Arena.🚲📣

Participants had their bicycle helmets inspected by Special Constable Koldyk before taking part in the rodeo activities. Children navigated the bike course and received valuable cycling safety tips from Optimist Club volunteers. The beautiful weather made for a fantastic day, and everyone enjoyed hotdogs, chips, and refreshments following the event.

A sincere thank you to the Bothwell Optimist Club for their continued dedication to hosting this outstanding community event year after year.💙

Citizen’s Police Academy participants got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look inside the courthouse and secure cell areas this week. They learned how Court Officers manage prisoner escorts, courtroom security, and daily operations.

Participants also had the opportunity to meet K9 Helix 🐾and Sergeant Mike Van Kesteren👮, gaining firsthand insight into the training, teamwork and dedication behind police canine operations.

Yet another exciting night of learning, interaction and experiences! 👮💙
