Our Story

The Chatham-Kent Employment and Social Services Division works in partnership with other levels of government, community agencies and the citizens of Chatham-Kent, to deliver services and programs to help people within our Municipality.

If you qualify, Ontario Works services and programs can help you with every day expenses such as food and shelter. You may also receive health benefits, including drug and dental coverage.

Employment programs can help you prepare for and find employment, receive training or upgrade your education.

Employment & Social Services also offers Homelessness and Shelter Security programs. The Chatham-Kent Shelter Solutions Program helps people who aren't eligible for Ontario Works, but need help because of a housing emergency.
