International Pronouns Day 💜
Did you know that pronouns, such as she, he, and they, have been part of our language for centuries? The singular they has been used in English since at least the 1300s. Today, some people share their pronouns to help others address them respectfully and accurately. International Pronouns Day is an opportunity to recognize the different ways people identify and express themselves. Using someone's name and pronouns correctly is a simple way to show consideration and help create a welcoming school community where everyone is treated with kindness and respect. Did You Know? International Pronouns Day is observed on the third Wednesday of October each year. 💜
