Happy 70th anniversary to Sardis Secondary School! Founded in 1956 as Sardis Junior High School, the school has grown and changed over the past 70 years, including opening a new addition in September. Staff, alumni, students and the community gathered to celebrate this milestone on Friday, October 16th 🎉

District and school flags will be flown at half-mast until further notice in acknowledgement of the tragic incident that occurred at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright on October 17.

At this time, our thoughts are with the families, friends, and colleagues of those who lost their lives, those injured, and the wider military community.

It is with profound sadness that we confirm that Sergeant Morgan Wong, Private Shaun Farrell, Private Aidan Goulding, and Private Hayden Lykkemark lost their lives during a fire-related training incident at CFB Wainwright at approximately 4 p.m. MDT yesterday. Thirty-nine additional members sustained injuries.

The Chilliwack Family Resource Fair is tonight (Wednesday) from 4:00 - 6:00pm at Chilliwack Secondary School. Students and families are welcome to attend, share a meal, and learn about supports available in our community.

Save the date! Children, youth and families are invited to the Chilliwack Family Resource Fair and Dinner on October 14.

Drop in any time between 4pm and 6pm to visit resource booths, connect with service providers, and learn about community supports.
