It was a great day at William Head, seeing old friends, new faces and a great play. Thank you to the volunteers who shuffled us around.

Anyone around from 1982 who worked at William Head who was there for the infamous coffin escape.

New Deputy Commissioner
(Pacific Region)

I wanted to share some news with you, the Commissioner announced the appointment of Reesha Namasivayam as the new Regional Deputy Commissioner for the Pacific Region, effective October 8, 2026.

We extend a warm welcome to Reesha as she prepares to join Correctional Service Canada and return to her home province of British Columbia. Reesha brings a wealth of leadership experience from across the federal public service, including senior executive positions at the Privy Council Office, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, National Defence, the Canada Border Services Agency, and Health Canada. Her diverse background and commitment to public service will undoubtedly be valuable assets as she assumes leadership of the Pacific Region.
