📸✨ Meet More of Our Uniquely Me Photo Contest Winners! ✨📸

Every photo tells a story, and these moments remind us why individuality, relationships, and personal expression matter so much.

🍂 One winner captured the joy of fall with pumpkin carving, Halloween decorating, cookies, and plenty of smiles.

🗳️ Another featured Ramona proudly displaying the poster she created to encourage people to vote, a right she takes very seriously.

💍 Muncie and Cathy shared a beautiful moment after getting married and beginning their next chapter together.

🎃 A matching pajama day with roommates and staff showed that sometimes the simplest moments create the best memories.

🐱 And Clifford reminded us of the power of friendship. He loves the neighbourhood cat, Garfield, and the two spend many afternoons cuddled up together.

Thank you to everyone who submitted photos and shared a glimpse of what makes them uniquely themselves. ❤️

We're excited to kick off our "Uniquely Me" Photo Contest by celebrating our first round of winners!

This year's theme encourages people to share the passions, interests, talents, relationships, and experiences that make them who they are. It's a celebration of individuality, identity, and belonging, and these first winning photos capture that spirit perfectly.

🍂 Happy Thanksgiving from Inclusion Chilliwack Society! 🍂

Today, we pause to reflect on the people, relationships, and community connections that make our work so meaningful.

We are thankful for:
* The individuals and families we support
* Our dedicated staff and community partners
* The spirit of inclusion and belonging that brings us together

Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and enjoyable Thanksgiving.

The Sunshine Community Garden had another incredible season, with 74 members caring for 88 plots and 1,500 lbs of fresh produce donated to support our community. 🍅💚

Through approximately 40 delivery trips, fresh vegetables reached the Salvation Army, Tidal Foods, and local community partners, helping turn gardens into giving.

This year also brought exciting improvements, including water expansion, new raised beds, solar lighting, and a beautiful new entrance archway.

Thank you to everyone who helps make the Sunshine Community Garden a place where food, friendship, and community flourish. ☀️🌱

Today, Inclusion Chilliwack Society joins communities across Canada in recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and Indigenous communities.
