We are largely overdue in posting this and part of that is because things have been so very busy since school set back in and construction really started to take off!
We have some exciting updates to share but before we do, we need to take a moment to say a big THANK YOU to the District of Clearwater for their $2500 contribution to our epic project! Their interest and appreciation for this project has been great and they are a big part of why it's so easy for people in our lovely little town to "Love Where You Live!"
Things have been so busy that the picture you're seeing in this post was taken only a few weeks ago and now our structure has walls and much more!🥳😁🥳 You can catch an updated picture in the December school newsletter too if you'd like to see more.
We're not done yet though stay tuned for an update on how you can help with the completion of this fantastic addition to our student's learning space! 🤗

Please join us in saying a big Thank You to Trans Mountain Corporation for their generous $5000 donation towards our project. There have no doubt been challenges with the pipeline going through town over the past few years but there have also been many positives, this donation obviously being one of them.
One of many examples of the pipeline project and companies involved in it giving back to our awesome community.

We are so super pleased and excited to announce we have broken ground!! 📣📣🥳💚🥳📣📣
It has been such a busy spring applying for grants and permits and lining up all the important construction plans and financials but we are well on our way and so very excited about it!!
NONE of this would be possible if it wasn't for the outstanding community support and interest and for that we would like to thank everyone.
More specifically, we'd like to give a big shout out and THANK YOU to the Raft River PAC for their generous donation of $5000 towards this amazing project. Our PAC is a small but mighty group of volunteers (ALWAYS LOOKING FOR MORE ACTIVE MEMBERS🤞) that works very hard raising money for the students at Raft. This hard work and attention to the students and school is what allows the PAC to be able to support all sorts of awesome programs and projects at Raft. We truly don't know where we would be without this awesome PAC group and sometimes all the THANK YOUS don't seem to be enough for this amazing group of get 'er done volunteers. You know who you are and we are so grateful to have you be a part of our school community! 💗

Well it's a New Year and it's going to be a BIG ONE! 🤩🥳🤩
Before we get too ahead of ourselves however we'd like to take a minute to do a few more shout outs that we didn't get to from this fall.
Please join me in saying THANK YOU to Caitlin McIntosh with Caitlin McIntosh Mortgages for her generous $400 donation to this project! Always willing to help out, she has quickly become an awesome addition to our amazing little community! She's a Mom and active PAC member, volunteers with numerous organizations and events in town and one of the most thorough and organized mortgage brokers I've met! This lady gets it done and doesn't miss a beat, all with a beautiful smile on her face while she's at it!! ☺️Always a pleasure to work with this gem of a human being and our little town is blessed to have her!
We also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Chia-Wen Chang this fall while canvassing town for donations for the silent auction. This wonderful man is the owner of the Clearwater Center; Home of The Right Place, Old Town Gift Shoppe, Hartty Clothing, The Grooming Shop and RBC to name a few. Mr. Chang literally pulled his wallet out without hesitation and handed us a crisp $100 bill to put towards our cause. He also shared his belief in supporting the young up and comers in this community as we all know they will be running this awesome town one day! 💗

Here's some big news we've been so excited to share! 🤗
While we were prepping and planning and asking for donations for our big Music Night and Silent Auction last week we also got another super generous donation from our locally grown, owned and operated Fleetwest Enterprises Ltd.
When we approached Kelly for a silent auction donation he was not only very enthusiastic about the project but he called us back the very next day with a $5000 donation! 🤩
Big Thank you to Kelly Graffunder for his generous contribution to this project! We love that his girls will get to enjoy this epic and awesome addition to our school as they are current and soon to be RRE students themselves! 😎
The people make a community and we are so very blessed in our awesome little valley! 🙌💚🙌

Things have been crazy busy over here but here's a quick little update while we've got a hot minute.
We're organizing an awesome fundraiser for next week and working hard applying for more grants among tackling a few other logistical hurdles but we're getting 'er done! 🤗
Before things get too busy with next week's event we'd like to take the time to say a tremendous Thank you to Bannister Pipelines for their generous $5000 donation to our project!! 🙏
Perry Kocis (Indeginous/Community Liason with Banister) came to our school yard in September to check out the site and graciously present a few of our committee members with the $5000 cheque.

Happy First week back to school everyone!! 🍎 📚
We're excited to share that a very talented and generous lady by the name of Jolayne brought these beautiful hand-made wreaths into Alana Menzel at Old Town Gift Shoppe and asked her to sell them and donate the proceeds to a local organization and.....she chose this project! 🤗
How cool is that??
Pop on down to the shoppe to see these beautiful, one-of-a kind creations! They would make a perfect gift for a friend or new addition to your fall décor and the best part is you're supporting an epic project for the elementary kids while you're at it.
