FREE SUMMER COOKING PROGRAM FOR FAMILIES!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Yellowhead Community Services is hosting a free Summer Food Sense Program where families can cook, learn, and eat together!

The Details:
What: A fun, hands-on cooking and nutrition program.

When: Wednesdays, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (July 29 – September 2).

Where: The Dutch Lake Community Center.

Cost: Free to attend (everyone is welcome, but youth ages 10–16 must bring an adult).

Transportation: Support is available if you need a ride!

You will need to sign a permission form prior to departing. Please note the permission form is not provided by the school as this is not a school-sanctioned event. A helmet is required to participate.

BABYSITTING COURSE

Good afternoon Parents and Caregivers,

Below you will find a poster for an upcoming opportunity for students Grade 5 (11 years old) and up to complete their babysitting course. This is a great opportunity for kids to learn the basics in babysitting as well as learning important first aid skills!

BIKE TRAIN & BIKE RODEO TOMORROW

Good afternoon Raft families,

This is a friendly reminder that the Bike Train will start tomorrow - 8 am at the Rotary Skate Park. It will leave by 8:10 am.

We will also have the Bike Rodeo starting at 9 am at Raft. Bikes can be dropped off at the back courtyard if not biking to school. We will have signage out in the morning to indicate where each class will store their bikes.

Please note that any students participating require a helmet. Students are expected to walk their bike or scooter once on school grounds or while exiting school grounds for safety purposes.
