Draw for the Climax Volunteer Fire Department Raffle!!!
3rd place winner is Grant Goodall who won the first aid kit and carbon monoxide detector
2nd place winner is Darlene Zufelt who won the fire blanket and fire extinguishers
Grand prize winner is Mike Bertram who won the BBQ

Thank you to SaskEnergy for the grant to purchase the BBQ, Saskatoon Barbecues and More Store (via Camden Shirley) who delivered the BBQ, the RM of Lone Tree #18 for donating the first aid kit, the Village of Climax for donating the carbon monoxide detector, and Robert & Marla Shirley for donating the fire blanket and fire extinguishers. Thank you to those individuals who sold tickets and those who purchased tickets! There were 257 sold bringing proceeds of $2570 to the Climax Volunteer Fire Department for help in purchasing Turn Out Gear and SCBA's!

NOTICE: Village of Climax 2026 Property Tax Notices have been issued and mailed. 2026 Property Taxes are due on or before December 31, 2026 and are for the 2026 Calendar Year.

The fire department is preparing their equipment for this upcoming dry season, and will be hooking up to the hydrant at the school corner only. Not all residents will be affected!

SMHI Crop Reports went out last week to those landowners already in the program. There are many benefits to enrolling in the program, if you would like to join the program, please call the RM Office and talk to Marla.

***Please see watering restrictions effective immediately***

NOTE: flowers and gardens are EXEMPT from watering restrictions however, it is not recommended to water them between 10am-6pm. Those who haul water and/or collect rain water for their watering purposes would also be exempt from these restrictions.

Water users south of the village may water on Tues, Thurs, and Sat.
