Nominations are open for Divisions 2 and 4 in the RM, and for 1 Councillor in the Village. Nomination forms are available at the municipal office and complete nomination packages must be received in our office no later than 4pm on each of the respective Nomination Days. Note: nomination packages must include a criminal record check that has been completed within 30 days of your application.

UPDATE ON 4TH AVE EAST SEWER BLOCKAGE: The blockage has been conquered! Thank you to everyone who sprang into action and got this mess cleaned up so quickly! Regular water and sewer usage can be resumed. Please keep in mind that many sewer blockages have been caused by things that shouldn't be flushed - trash, toys, clothes, rolls of toilet paper, and other unusual objects. Please be gentle with our pipes!

Good morning! We are dealing with a sewer blockage, so we are asking ratepayers on 4TH AVENUE EAST to please REFRAIN FROM USING WATER AND SEWER as much as humanly possible. Thank you so much for your attention and compliance while we sort this out!

Residents on the East side of town may experience some brown water today while they jet the sewer lines on 2nd Avenue West (around noon) as the truck will be filling up at the hydrant located on the corner of the highway and 1st Street East.

URGENT: Hello, folks! Sorry to say, but we have a sewer blockage that we're trying to get fixed ASAP! Please be conservative with your water and sewer usage, while we get this sorted out!

Please be aware of the pylons on some of the streets surrounding the Border Health Centre - we are uncovering (not opening) the manholes in preparation for sewer line flushing later this week.
