Calling all high school students β€” we need your help!

The Goderich Branch is gearing up for our upcoming Book Sale, and we’re looking for student volunteers to help make it happen! Every single dollar raised from the sale goes right back into the library, helping us continue to offer the amazing free programs and events our community loves. πŸ’›

Volunteers will help carry and sort books from our basement into the event space, and we’ll teach you how to organize everything by genre like a pro. Think of it as part workout, part behind-the-scenes library experience. πŸ˜„πŸ“¦

⚠️ Please note: boxes can weigh anywhere from 20–40 lbs, so volunteers should be comfortable with lifting and carrying.

πŸ—“ Volunteer Dates: June 8–11
⏰ Shifts: 2 hour shifts (4-6 pm, 6-8 pm)
This is a great opportunity to earn volunteer hours, meet new people, and directly support programs for kids, teens, and families in our community.

Interested? Reach out to the Goderich Branch!

The Zurich Branch has been housed in different locations in Zurich, including the home of Nita Oesch, who served as librarian from 1952 until 1977 when the library was moved into the new Zurich municipal building at the corner of Frederick and Main Streets.

The library quickly outgrew that new space and a new, modern library was built at the corner of Goshen and Main Streets, where it stands today.
