Our next Seniors' Fitness Instructor training begins September 21!

Through our partnership with Western University's Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging, new volunteers can receive the training and certification needed to lead safe, effective and engaging fitness classes for older adults. Plus, the $450 course fee is covered entirely by us.

If you're passionate about fitness, community and helping older adults stay active, we'd love to have you join us.

Training starts September 21, 2026. Get in touch to learn move and the take the first step toward becoming a certified Seniors' Fitness Instructor.

ONE CARE is inviting seniors living within Perth County to share their original photography and artwork for a chance to be featured in our 2027 My Wellness Calendar!

From beautiful landscapes and local landmarks to nature, wildlife, still life and creative works that celebrate aging well in our community — we want to see your perspective.

Selected submissions will be featured throughout the calendar, with the featured artist/photographer receiving a $25 gift card + complimentary calendar!

🥔 Happy National Potato Day!

To some, this may just be a lighthearted holiday to celebrate, but to us, potatoes are a little more meaningful. They’re nourishment, connection and a warm meal shared with someone who needs it.

Within the span of just one year, a whopping total of 4,800 potatoes were prepared in our Clinton kitchen which support our dining programs & Meals on Wheels and help make sure nutritious meals reach people across our communities.

So today, we’re celebrating the humble potato… because sometimes, the simplest things make the biggest difference.

Thank you to our amazing team of staff and volunteers who give us a reason to celebrate the potato (in all of its many forms!) 💜
