✔ Listen without judgment
✔ Build meaningful connections

Talk early, talk often. 💬

Being a safe adult for young people can lead to navigating complex topics. You don’t need to be an expert, just be aware of the support available to guide them.

Consider taking training to recognize signs of unhealthy relationships in both youth and adults. Encourage your friends to join the conversation too: https://www.neighboursfriendsandfamilies.ca/NFFHuronCounty

Municipalities account for the largest and fastest-growing share of housing and homelessness funding in Ontario.

But municipalities are not resourced to respond to a rapidly intensifying crisis.

“A whole-of-government approach means strategically aligning systems to work together, so that public policy and service delivery support stability earlier, reduce the cycle of repeated system use, and improve outcomes across people’s lifetime.”*

Don’t just vote—ask. What will your candidates do if elected?
