🚒 August Call Volume Update🚒

It's been another busy week for CDES, with 16 additional calls for service since our last update.

That brings us to 47 calls in August and 516 calls for services so far in 2026.

A big thank you to our dedicated volunteer members of the Coaldale & District Volunteer Firefighter Association for continuing to answer the call and serve our community! 🚒

🚒 August 2026 Call Volume Update
Since our last update, our crews have responded to an additional 17 calls for service, bringing our August total to 31 calls and officially reaching 500 calls for service YTD.

🚒 August Call Volume Update 🚨

August is already keeping our crews busy, with 14 calls for service so far this month, bringing our 2026 year-to-date total to 483 calls.

👟 Help put a great pair of shoes on the feet of a local child!

Our Coaldale & District Volunteer Firefighter Association is incredibly fortunate to have the support of Shoes for YQL for the Ladders to Learning program, and we encourage everyone to check out their 6th Annual Shoe Drive & Charity BBQ.

Join them on Saturday, August 15th Murray Chevrolet Cadillac - Lethbridge. They will be collecting new sneakers for children from Kindergarten through Grade 12, with monetary donations also gratefully accepted.

Every pair of shoes can make a meaningful difference for a child in our community. Please consider supporting this wonderful cause or help spread the word by sharing this post!

🚒July 2026 Call Volume Update🚨

Since our last update, crews have responded to an additional 39 calls for service, bringing our July total to 74 calls and our 2026 year-to-date total to 468.

This represents an increase of approximately 40% compared to July 2025, when we finished the month with 53 calls for service.

Thank you to our dedicated Coaldale & District Volunteer Firefighter Association members for continuing to serve our community throughout this busy summer season. Your commitment, time, and sacrifice are greatly appreciated. 🔥🧑‍🚒

🚒 Call Volume Update – June/July 2026 🔥

CDES finished up June with 56 total calls for service.

So far in July, our members have already responded to 6 calls, bringing our 2026 year-to-date total to 400 calls even.

What an incredible Canada Day at the Captain Craig Wilson Memorial Pancake Breakfast.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support, volunteer, donate, and help make the morning such a success. With close to 500 people attending, it was a powerful reminder of the amazing community we serve.

We are grateful to have spent the day with the Wilson family, remembering Craig and honouring what he stood for. Thank you, Coaldale, for your overwhelming support.

A big thank you to the Coaldale & District Volunteer Firefighter Association for a huge turnout of volunteers running this important annual event.

Our annual Captain Craig Wilson Memorial Scholarship Canada Day Pancake Breakfast is coming up on July 1st at the Coaldale Firehall.

This breakfast is a chance for our community to come together, enjoy a great Canada Day tradition, and help us give back through scholarships honouring the legacy of the late Captain Craig Wilson.
