We are all eager for the long weekend, but there is no excuse for unsafe driving behaviour. This week, the charged three drivers with stunt driving after travelling nearly double the posted speed limit in 50 km/h zones.

Two drivers were stopped on October 6 and another on October 8. All three vehicles were impounded, and all three drivers received immediate licence suspensions.

Speeding isn't just a traffic violation. It reduces reaction time, increases stopping distance, and raises the risk of serious injury or death for everyone sharing the road.

πŸπŸ‚πŸš˜ With fall now underway, drivers also face additional seasonal hazards, including increased wildlife activity, changing road conditions, reduced daylight hours, and sun glare.

Please do your part. Slow down. Stay alert. Drive sober. Drive safe.
