This week, several Gr. 7/8 students carried out some activities in the JK/SK, Gr. 1/2, Gr. 3/4, and Gr. 5/6 classes. The group of Gr. 7/8 students have been meeting over the last few weeks to create, plan, and organize a theme and activities that would positively impact student wellness at our school. The theme they decided on was "Disconnect from tech" and they showed our younger students some awesome activities that they can do during free time, indoor/outdoor recesses, and at home instead of going onto their devices.

Every class got to do "This isn't a star. It's a..." and show their creativity and imagination. Other activities included charades, 7Up, hopscotch, and more. Thank you so much to the group of Gr. 7/8 students for their leadership and hard work.

A big thank you to Mr. S and his Gr. 7/8 class for cleaning up our school yard on Monday this week.
