Wollaston Roads Department Showcases Safety and Skill at 2026 Truck Roadeo in Minden
Wollaston Township is pleased to announce that the Township’s Roads Department was well represented at the 2026 Truck Roadeo, hosted in Minden by the Association of Ontario Road Supervisors (AORS). The event highlighted safe driving practices, equipment handling, and professionalism in municipal public works operations.
This year’s strong results reflect the Roads Department’s ongoing commitment to safety, precision, teamwork, and excellence in daily operations. The success achieved at the event was made possible through the collective efforts and dedication of all participating staff members.
The Township congratulates the entire team on their performance at this year’s competition, with special recognition to Bruce Martin, who earned 1st place, and Tom Stoner, who achieved an impressive 2nd place finish. Both drivers will go on to represent the Bancroft area at the AORS Provincial Safety Truck Roadeo later this year.
