🚌📅 IMPORTANT REMINDER: School Bus Deadline is THIS Friday! 📅🚌

Parents and guardians, the clock is ticking! To ensure your child has a seat on the bus for the first day of school (Monday, August 31, 2026), you must submit your request for transportation by this Friday, July 31, 2026.

Submitting your form by this deadline is crucial because it:

💺 Helps ensure a seat is reserved for your child.

🗺️ Helps the division plan the most efficient routes possible over the summer.

⏱️ Helps reduce delays and stressful route changes at the start of the year.

📋 What you need to do:

Returning Riders: If your child rode the bus last year, check your email! You should have a notification to log into School Engage and complete the 2026-2027 Returning Rider Form to confirm your info.

New Riders: If your child is new to NLPS or has never ridden the bus before, please complete the 2026-2027 New Rider Form in School Engage.

⚠️ What happens if you miss the deadline?
NLPS will try to accommodate late requests, but routes will be finalized based on the July 31st data. Late requests may not be assigned a space until the week of September 8th, and depending on resources, some families may have to be placed on a waiting list.

Families will be notified of their specific route details, pick-up, and drop-off locations between August 24th and 28th.

🔗 Head over to our website for full instructions on how to access and fill out the forms. Don't delay—lock in your child's seat today!
