Greater Vernon Athletics Park This facility offers many amenities to teams, practices, groups, and the public. For reservations contact Recreation Services call 250-545-6035.

The Athletics Park is FREE for general public use. Fees only apply to groups or individuals interested in booking one or more of the amenities for exclusive use. Paving of the new perimeter pathway around the Greater Vernon Athletics Park is set to begin this Thursday, November 4 (weather permitting). Access to the pathway will be restricted as construction personnel and heavy equipment will be on site. We thank everyone for their patience as we bring this project to completion! Paving work is expected to take 2 days.

Starting on Monday (July 26) the track at the Greater Vernon Athletic Park will be getting a facelift! The re-painting project is expected to last 2 weeks, with limited access to the track and field areas during the first week, and a full closure during the second week. No track or field slots will be available to book during this time.

As a part of repaving the current trail surface at the Greater Vernon Athletic Park, RDNO consultants will be completing drilling operations to test the existing trail surface on Monday, June 7.

Locations will be marked off, but we ask all users to be cautious and follow all signage when at the track this Monday.

The Athletic Park is open. Washrooms available 9am-7pm, starting May 23. Please maintain physical distancing:
Talking 2 meters apart
Walking is a 5 meters draft distance
Running is a 10 meter draft distance
