The Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum, AKA "the farm", is an original Cole Harbour farm, cultivated continuously for over 200 years. It seeks to actively involve the public in awareness and protection of our natural and cultural resources and foster appreciation and respect for community - past, present, and future. The Farm is open five days a week from May 15 to October 15 every year. From May t

o October, there is a variety of animals on site usually including sheep, lambs, chickens and chicks, ducklings, and calves. During hours of operation feel free to come and visit the farm and the animals, admission is by donation or book a group tour! (Contact the farm for booking information)

We are always available for enquiries and appointments may be made for research.

Strawberry Social is only a couple weeks away! Join us Saturday, July 4th for a celebration of Nova Scotian strawberries! We will have house-made Strawberry Shortcake, freshly squeezed, ice cold lemonade, and live music from 1pm to 3pm; no better way to spend a summer's afternoon!

We have ticket and walk-in options available! Tickets are $16.95 + tax and will include a serving of strawberry Shortcake, ice cold lemonade, and musical entertainment.

Tickets go on sale this week! On Tuesday, June 16th, at 10am advanced tickets will be available for purchase on our online shop for members. Ticket sales will open to the general public on Wednesday, June 17th, at 10am.

Planning to join us at our Cole Harbour Fibre Frolic tomorrow?

Our neighbour, Forest Hills Fellowship Baptist Church, is sharing their parking lot for this event! We encourage you to park here and stroll on over to the excitement!

The yard will be packed with ongoing live demonstrations, a beautiful Fibre Marketplace, sheep shearing, our Frolic Grill will be up and running, and our kitchen will have lots of yummy treats available! Admission is pay what you can!
