On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, E3 honours Residential School Survivors, their families, and communities. We remember that Every Child Matters recognizing the lasting impacts of loss of name, culture, freedom and identity for many Indigenous people. We remain committed to learning and healing together.

💙 A big thank you to Meridian Credit Union’s Collingwood team!

Today, their team stopped by E3 with a generous donation of personal hygiene and craft kits for people supported through our Supported Independent Living, Community Engagement Services and EarlyON Children and Family Centres!

It was a meaningful day at the Power of Belonging Symposium. E3 Community Services was proud to be a part of the community at this event, centred on the voices of people with intellectual disabilities across Simcoe County.

The day focused on people speaking up, sharing their experiences, and calling for communities where everyone is included and valued.

Thank you to everyone who chose to attend and to Liam, who stepped forward to share his voice as a speaker.

Seeing people, families, caregivers, and community partners come together to listen, learn, and take action is how we build more inclusive and welcoming communities.

We came together this week to celebrate National Accessibility Week, and from the very beginning, our speakers set the tone for what the day would become.

Through their words, they reminded us that accessibility is about more than removing barriers; it’s about creating spaces where people feel they belong.

From there, the day unfolded naturally with conversations over BBQ, great music, laughter, and meaningful connections that brought our community together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a great day. 💙

Celebrating National AccessAbility Week!

We came together for National AccessAbility Week with a meaningful flag-raising ceremony at the Collingwood Public Library, followed by wonderful coffee and connection at the Happy Day Cafe! ☕✨

A massive thank you to the library for their incredible community partnership with E3 Community Services for the Happy Day Cafe, and for continuously creating warm, welcoming spaces for everyone. Thanks to Neale for volunteering at the cafe!
