If you wandered past Harris Park today and saw two gentlemen working away at the war memorial, you witnessed a bit of magic from 4th‑generation Master Stonemason, Wayne Kent (L) and his friend and helper Gerry Fitzgerald (R) of Saskatoon.

They’ve been restoring memorials in three towns, and Colonsay was lucky enough to be one of them. The new stonework looks beautiful — a respectful upgrade to a place that means so much to our community.

Wayne may be “retired,” but he still builds winter kitchens, pizza ovens, and any stone creation you can dream up. Keep him in mind if you want something built to last.

We’re grateful for their excellent work at Harris Park.

Today is the day to fill your vehicles! Come by the Colonsay Co-op between 4:30 and 6:30 for burgers or hotdogs

We are thrilled to announce that Little Isle Learners Child Care Cooperative has been selected as one of this year's Saskatoon Co-op Fuel Good Day organizations! On September 15, five cents from every litre of fuel sold at our local Colonsay Co-op gas bar will be donated to our organization to help us build a new childcare facility in town.

Last year, Saskatoon Co-op raised over $29,000, and with your support, we can make this year another success.

Please share this and come out September 15. We will also be hosting a burger sale from 4:30 to 6:30pm. More information to follow.

Fuel up and fuel good!
