Also! We're joining the Town of CBS at Out in the Park on the 20th. Swag making will be available Tuesday-Thursday during our operating hours in our Makerspace or you can join us at the event on Saturday and take part there!

Lately, we've noticed an increase of patrons saying our hours online aren't correct.

Please remember that when you do a google search now the very first result (unless you've disabled it) is an AI (artificial intelligence) overview. AI is RARELY correct when it comes to business operating hours so please always check our official website www.nlpl.ca to get our current operating hours.

See the below image of the AI overview vs our actual website. At the moment we think google is pulling the hours from our current website, an old website from the early 2000s that we cannot get taken down, and the Copenhagen Business School (also CBS library) and making up a combination of those hours. We report this error to Google whenever we can but we cannot control what information the Google AI generator gives you.

📢 Attention Canadian Dental Care Plan Members📢

Save the date: Friday, May 8th, 1pm-3pm.

Service Canada will be holding an in-person CDCP renewal clinic here at the CBS Library. These will be Free, walk-in only, no appointments needed.

Citizen Services Specialists from Service Canada will be available to assist with
renewal applications for existing CDCP members, as well as with other Service
Canada–related programs. for a drop-in clinic to assist the public with renewing their
