Town of Irishtown-Summerside Annual Spring Cleanup Update

Our Annual Spring Cleanup program, which covered tipping fees for residents of Irishtown-Summerside throughout the month of May, was a great success!

We understand that some residents were unable to transport their bulk garbage to the landfill during the cleanup period. To assist those residents, the Town will be providing a Bulk Waste Pickup Service.

Arrangements can be made until June 10 ONLY by calling 709-783-2146 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
You may also register by email at [email protected].

Please note:
• Requests received after June 10 will not be accommodated.
• Scheduled pickups will take place one time only!
• Town crews will not return to a property after the scheduled pickup date, so please ensure all items are placed out on time.

When you register, you will be assigned a specific pickup day. On your assigned day, all materials must be sorted into TWO separate piles:
1. Bulk Waste
2. Metal Items

Thank you for helping keep our community clean and beautiful!
