A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our annual Rose Day!

Because of your generosity and enthusiasm, this year's event was a tremendous success. Whether you purchased roses, helped with deliveries, volunteered your time, or simply spread the word, your support made a real difference.

One of the many highlights of the day was delivering roses throughout our community and sharing a little kindness with those who received them.

Pictured here is Jake with Nicole Gurnsey, Executive Director at Lancaster Long Term Care Residence, where we delivered roses on Friday. The staff and residents were very pleased with the gesture, and it was wonderful to see the smiles these simple acts of kindness brought.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make Rose Day such a success. Your support allows us to continue giving back to our community and making a positive impact where it is needed most!

Today is the day to share kindness, one dozen at a time! 🌹

It's Rotary Rose Day, and we still have extra roses available for purchase at $30 per dozen.

Whether you're surprising a loved one, brightening a friend's day, thanking a neighbour, or sharing smiles with someone who could use a little extra kindness, a dozen roses is a beautiful way to make a difference.

A big thank you to the members of the St. Lawrence Secondary School Interact Team who came out to volunteer!

Your time, energy, and willingness to serve truly made a difference. It is inspiring to see young leaders stepping up to support our community and demonstrate the spirit of service above self.

We are grateful for your hard work and dedication...together, we continue to make our community stronger.

JUNE IS ROTARY FELLOWSHIP MONTH

At the heart of Rotary is **Fellowship** the friendships, connections, and shared purpose that bring us together to make a difference.

Through fellowship, we build stronger communities, support one another, and turn service into lasting impact. Whether through meetings, events, or projects, Rotary reminds us that meaningful change happens when people come together with compassion and purpose.

Thank you to our Rotarians, partners, and community supporters who continue to make fellowship more than just a theme... you make it a way of life.

Together we serve. Together we grow. Together we belong.

Sponsored by both RCC and RCC-Sunrise, two very grateful students travelled to RYLA Camp in Parham, just north of Kingston, Ontario, on Friday, May 22.

Over the course of 3 days and 2 nights, they joined students from across District 7040 to share ideas, build friendships, and work together through both fun and challenging team activities. Through inspiring speakers and interactive sessions, the students explored valuable leadership skills and, in groups, presented creative ideas aimed at making our world a better place.

Of course, the weekend wasn’t all work! Campers also enjoyed the famous Polar Bear swims, canoeing (and a few capsizes!), campfire s’mores, and lively sing-alongs.

A wonderful experience filled with leadership, learning, teamwork, and memories to last a lifetime!
