Sexual violence is surrounded by myths that can influence how survivors are perceived, believed and supported.

Challenging these misconceptions matters. There is no single way someone responds to sexual violence, no required way to behave afterward, and no timeline for reporting or seeking support.

Swipe through as we look at some common myths about sexual assault and the realities behind them, including recent Canadian data.

If you or someone you know has experienced sexual violence, SASS is here to support you.

💜 International Overdose Awareness Day | Journée internationale de sensibilisation aux surdoses

Today, August 31, we remember. We raise awareness. We stand without judgment. đź’ś

International Overdose Awareness Day is a time to honour the lives lost to overdose, acknowledge the grief carried by families, friends, and communities, and show compassion for those affected by substance use.

Every person has a story. Every life has value.

By talking openly about overdose, challenging stigma, and sharing information about prevention and support, we can help create communities where people feel safer reaching out for help.

đź’ś Remember without stigma. Support without judgment. Lead with compassion.

💜 Journée internationale de sensibilisation aux surdoses

Aujourd’hui, le 31 août, nous nous souvenons. Nous sensibilisons. Nous sommes solidaires, sans jugement. 💜
