🐟 Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Fish Ecology Workshop! 🐟

We were thrilled to welcome visitors to the Saunders Hydro Dam Visitor Centre on August 15th for a fun and hands-on day of learning about the fish of the St. Lawrence River!

A special thank you to the River Institute for partnering with us and sharing their expertise. Attendees learned about local fish species, got to see, touch, and identify fish caught right from the river, and even examined preserved specimens under a microscope. 🔬🐟

We also had the opportunity to learn about eels and the importance of our eel ladder, with live eels on site for visitors to observe! 🌊

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the workshop such a great success! We hope you had as much fun learning about the incredible aquatic life of the St. Lawrence River as we did! 💙
