Meals on Wheels Cornwall Meals on Wheels is a non-profit, volunteer based support service that delivers hot, nutritious meals to homebound citizens of Cornwall.

The Meals on Wheels Program operates in partnership with the Glen Stor Dun Lodge Outreach Department. Meals on Wheels is a volunteer-based community service which delivers nutritious meals to individuals to help them maintain their health and independence at home. This service is offered on both a short-term and long-term basis. Meals on Wheels offers both a hot meal program and a frozen meal prog

ram. Recipients have the option to choose either program or a combination of both programs to suit their individual needs. Hot Meal Program
The hot meal program offers an appetizing variety of meals consisting of a main dish, soup, salad, gravy and a dessert. Meals are delivered Monday to Friday between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm by our friendly volunteers. The cost of the service is $32.50 per week. Frozen Meal Program
The frozen meal program is an alternative or supplement to the traditional hot meal delivery. The frozen meal program is an ideal program for those wishing to have more flexibility in choosing their meals and do not want to commit to staying home on a daily basis. The frozen meals are prepared by a company called Apetito. Apetito offers a tempting array of main dishes, soups and desserts including meals suitable for vegetarians, diabetics, and reduced sodium diets. In addition, there is a special diet menu offering pureed, minced, renal, gluten-free, and lactose-free meals. Call us for a menu and price list. The meals are delivered by trained volunteers who provide a personal contact, a safety check as well as an interested daily visitor. Meals on Wheels is a proud member agency of the United Way of SDG.
