I am going to be looking for a farm hand again this year. Room and board will be offered by way of payment. Farm hands will be expected to work on average 5 days per week and generally no more than 5 hours per day often a lot less. Much of farming is seasonal so expect a heavier work load during the warmer months. Duties will include but are not limited to, animals husbandry, gardening and general labour. A more comprehensive list can be supplied on request. In return I can also offer education in home cooking, prepping skills, herbal remedies and soap and lotion making. I am looking for people that can commit to a minimum of one month at a time, preferably 3 months. For those that are not canadian citizens I can offer a maximum of 6 months due to visa restrictions. I am mostly looking for an April start but I am in need of someone for at least six weeks from the middle of February that can help with milking and cleaning out stalls.
